He finished his doctoral thesis in 2001 Doctorate in engineering sciences, specialize: Mechanics, at Metz University, France.
He was a professor is Aleppo university until 2016, Where He was the head department of textile and spinning Engineering form 2005 – 2009, Previously He has worked as technical and research consultant in different textile factories.
His research focuses on composite material, thermoplastic bio-composite material, Textile Recycling, Yarn production and Textile structure.
He has three running projects regarding bio-composite and recycling textiles
