The joint policy initiative Eastern Partnership - EaP
The joint policy initiative Eastern Partnership – EaP,
aims to deepen and strengthen relations between the European Union (EU),
its Member States and its six Eastern neighbours:
Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine

Capacity Building

- Participation to three online preliminary meetings with business coach
- Participation to a Study visit in Tbilisi, Georgia, 3 days duration
- Participation to a Study visit in Tuscany, Italy, 3 days duration (Travel, accommodation and meals all included in the GIFT VOUCHER)
- Online marketplace room for matchmaking exercise and value development
A total of 16 participants from Italy and Georgia will be selected upon the following conditions:
- Minimum 2 SMEs owners under 35 years old;
- Minimum 5 SMEs owners run by women;
- Minimum 3 SMEs having their seat in rural areas;
- Minimum 2 BSOs involving women from top-level management of the organisation
- 8 SMEs owners based in italy (will take part to the Study Visit in Georgia)
- 8 SMEs owners based in Georgia (will take part to the Study Visit in Italy)
- English language B2 level required
- Business based in Italy / Georgia
- Interest to activate business partnership across Georgian and italian companies
EUROCHAMBRES – EU4Business: Connecting Companies

In 2016, the government of Georgia launched the Culture Strategy 2025, a document setting priorities to make “Georgia a creative country and regional hub where innovation and creativity, along with safeguarding and revitalising national heritage and cultural diversity are the fundamental pillars of social wellbeing and sustainable development.” CCIs are recognized as a source for job creation, economic growth and innovation. In addition, the technology sector is expanding in all the Eastern partner countries, including Georgia.
Italy is a central nation in the creative industry panorama, with very strong and deep-rooted traditions that have seen in recent years a strong push towards innovation and digitization, acting as a driving force for the sector.
The EUChambers’ Initiative – EU4Business: Connecting Companies – in which this activity is provided, represents an opportunity for Creative Caucasus to further develop partnerships and support Businesses in CCI field within the Study Visit Action.
The diverse background and expertise of the Skillman network members, combined with the experience of Creative Caucasus, is the right solution to provide new skills to the beneficiaries involved and increase the attractiveness of EU countries for highly skilled entrepreneurs.
Learning outcomes
Capacity building aims to engage SME owners from both countries to give them a better understanding of the local creative industries sector and create concrete opportunities for commercial partnerships.
Certifications
Participants receive the Europass Digital Credentials, describing all learning achievements. The credentials include activities, assessments during the Study Visit in Apulia.
Europass Digital Credentials are signed with an e-Seal, meaning participants will enjoy a legal presumption of authenticity across the EU as well as equivalence to paper-based credentials containing the same information.
At the end of the study visit all participants will be asked to fill in the Study visit evaluation questionnaire to get feedback on the quality and success of their experience.
Accommodation And Conditions
Get a chance to participate in the Study Visit in Italy and Georgia to strengthen the business cooperation in the sector of creative industries
- All organisations that work in the sphere of creative industries in Italy and Giorgia.
The participation is sourced with the Gitskills project funded by the Eurochamber – EU4BC. All the expenditures regarding the Travel and Subsistence are fully covered. CSCS and Creative Caucasus will take care of the study visit organisation and of all logistic aspects.
The arts and crafts sector comprises a large number of enterprises engaged in various activities. The people employed in this sector generally have a medium to high level of technical and/or artistic specialisation.
The professional profiles employed in this sector must have excellent manual dexterity and precision. In addition, creativity and the constant updating of new material processing techniques (willingness to update) are important prerequisites for working in this sector.
Based on these common basic competences, each professional in the sector must have their own specific technical competences and know how to use the appropriate work tools.
