Mr Mika Heino is an Expert of International Activities in Omnia, Espoo (Finland). He has a Master’s degree in Hospitality Management and competency to teach in TVET.
He has been working with various international projects dealing with development of IVET and TVET and learning and teaching environments and methods for over 13 years.
He has a wide experience in coordinating also large-scale development and networking projects both in transnational and international level. He has a good knowledge of different funding instruments both nationally and at EU level.
He is in charge of student and staff mobilities in Restaurant and Catering, Tourism, Laboratory, Bakery and Confectionary, Media and Gardening fields.
Previously he has worked over a decade as a senior lecturer of Restaurant Business and Information Technology in Omnia Adult Education Centre.
