  • The Italian Chamber of Commerce for Portugal (CCIP) has the task of promoting the development of trade and economic cooperation between Portugal and Italy. Our organization provides over 200 associates in both countries with a wide range of services in assistance and consultancy for the commercial and industrial business fields. The Chamber is headquartered in Lisbon and has another branch in Porto. It holds the ISO 9001 certification, annually verified by the certificating entity, and it is recognized by the Ministry of Economic Development in Italy.
    Public relations’ activities of CCIP include the organization of sector fairs and the promotion of networking meetings between business operators. Information activities include the publication of reports and newsletters informing about the market analysis in both countries, new business opportunities, changes in the professional fields and legislation.
    Besides the commercial services, CCIP performs training actions in various fields. Italian language courses are provided in the headquarters of the CCIP and lifelong learning or mobility activities are carried in the framework of European funded projects. Its staff has experience in the execution of transnational mobility projects, both incoming and outgoing, and prepares participants arrival and carries out the tasks of tutoring, monitoring and follow-up.

    Since 2015 our Chambers of Commerce has gained a sound experience and knowledge in Erasmus+ VET mobilities in the field of mechanics, mechatronics and industrial maintenance, being the coordinator of portuguese VET schools consortia and organizing more than 120 mobilities abroad and dealing with a big variety of partners across Portugal, Italy, Spain, Finland and UK. Our outgoing mobility projects are called “EMEVM – EUROPEAN METALLURGICAL AND ELECTROMECHANICAL VET MOBILITY”.

    We also act as local partner for KA2 projects, organising study visits in Portugal for mechanics VET schools from all over Europe.
