The Skillman.eu network submitted a project proposal for Open robotics on June, 22.
The proposal was presented to the call for training of the Tuscany Region in the supply chain ‘Information communication technologies (ICT)’ and was addressed to temporary business or purpose associations for inactive and unemployed persons.
The purpose of this call is to create a link between production activities and the territory, providing training interventions able to train qualified personnel, in order to support the existing industrial sector, encouraging innovation, development and internationalization of the strategic sector of Information and Communication Technology (ICT).
The design idea of Skillman for Open Robotics, in fact, stems from the belief that there is no real training offer on the territory in relation to the most recent developments in the collaborative robotics market.
The partnership composed of CSCS, COMAU (Group Fiat Chrysler Automotive), Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna, Manpower Formazione (Group Manpower), Liceo Scientifico “F. Redi” has already initiated an important work of analyzing the training needs throughout the Tuscan territory.
The complete course comprises 600 hours of training, including 250 hours of internships and 350 hours of teaching and orientation for an estimated number of 12 students.
