Mr Giovanni Crisonà participated in the expert workshop meeting ‘Blueprint for Sectoral Cooperation on Skills’ held the 12th of September 2019, in Brussels.
The Skillman network was invited to attend the initiative led by the Commission in cooperation with social partners and stakeholders to contribute to the analysis of the new trends related to the skills needed in the automotive sector.
The analysis aims to deliver a vision (with supporting actions and recommendations), and an implementation roadmap, to address the challenges faced by SMEs related to skills and employment. The results of this process set the basis for the elaboration of the Blueprint for sectoral cooperation on skills in the automotive sector, a key action of the New Skills Agenda for Europe.
The event included a session on the presentation of the initial common vision for skills development in the automotive sector and a space to discuss the types of actions proposed and their implementation plan in break-out groups.
