To explore the future of education, vocational training, employment, and the transformative shifts shaping lifelong learning and the society we strive to create, the 10th edition of the Skillman International Forum (SIF) 2024 will take place on December 11 and 12, 2024, in Montecatini Terme, Italy.
This year’s event offers a prime opportunity on the global stage to share insights on policies, strategies, and best practices related to skills development while fostering a dynamic exchange between institutions and organizations committed to the future of learning and work. The aim is to extend this knowledge to even the most remote regions, building a better life and a peaceful society grounded in shared values and ethical richness.
The Forum will span two intensive days, featuring presentations, pitches, roundtables, workshops, and a co-design process aimed at fostering excellence and equipping learners with digital credentials.
We are committed to creating a better society, and we invite institutions and individuals to join us in this mission.

SKILLMAN RIGA DECLARATION
The Skillman Declaration stands as the culmination of a number of deliberations and insights garnered from a continuum of events, and echoing collective voices of the previous edition of the Skillman International Forum, The Skillman Alliance Summit, various workshops conducted last year and the Skillman International Forum 2023.
Last year, the forum concluded with considerations on the impact of pandemics and conflicts between countries, reflecting on whether educators can embrace the utopia of changing societies.
This debate allowed us to focus on a set of themes that represent a call to action for the participants in the 2024 edition, who will analyze the following topics through keynote speeches, workshops, roundtables, training courses, co-design processes, policy papers, experiential journeys, etc.:
