Skillman.eu network has contributed to the realization of the conference ‘Skills for industry strategy 2030’ tanks to the participation of its key experts.
The conference aims to develop a paradigm to meet the demands of the industry by having skills at the heart of the industrial policy and to provide a large-scale response to the need of upskilling and/or reskilling the European workforce.
The rise of new key enabling technologies such as robotics and artificial intelligence, in fact, are heavily transforming the nature of jobs and Europe, now more than ever is facing an ever-growing skills gap that risks to slow down future growth and exasperate social disparities.
The event will be held on the 19th and 20th of June in Brussels. The first day will be dedicated to the solutions for a massive skills upgrade of the European workforce, while the second day will focus on the mobilisation of Funding Programmes and Incentives to Scale-up Best Practices.
The experts of the Skillman.eu network together with other business executives, policymakers, academics and education and training stakeholders will agree on priorities and concrete measures, in order to facilitate the implementation of upskilling strategies.
