On the 8th of June, Cedefop released the results of its new Skills Forecast up to 2030. On this occasion, a high-level event took place in Brussels at the Résidence Palace to discuss key sectoral and occupational trends, job openings across countries and their impact on new skills needed by 2030. Emerging issues and future challenges for the world of work and the implications for skills, employment and growth policies in the EU were also debated on a high level policy panel.
‘Skillman.eu’ team coordinator Giovanni Crisonà has taken part in the Cedefop 2018 Skills forecast launch event since the network actively works on the topics tackled by the conference and is engaged in activities targeting introducing skills, competences and innovative curricula. The key messages from Cedefop Skills Forecast were communicated through this briefing note.
