SAS is the leading airline group in Nothern Europe with approximately 1080 daily departures to 130 destinations in more than 30 countries and 27,2 million passengers annually. Our business concept is we provide best value for money to Nordic travelers whatever purpose of their journey. SAS Tech is directly involved in this project. SAS Technical Operations is a part of SAS Operations and is responsible for all technical expertise. We are recognized by the Danish Airworthiness in the following areas:

  • EASA Part 145 Maintenance Organization approval
  • EASA Part 147: Maintenance Training Organization approval
  • EASA 21/G Production Organization approval (POA)
  • EASA Part 21/J Design Organization approval

We also have international approval

Role in the Project

SAS Tech is the business partner for TEC, educating aircraft mechanic and further training. Denmark has a dual education in the VET sector.

We as a partner will be helping out identifying and describing the competences needed now and in the future for basic aircraft maintenance, having the link to the national and European Airworthiness.

Sustainability and safety is key to SAS. We are certified according to ISO 14001 environmental certification. We will also see the content of this project in the perspective of sustainability.
