The second edition of the ‘Kenya Skills Show’ will take place on February 8-10th, 2019 at the Kenyatta International Conference Centre (K.I.C.C) in Nairobi.
The event, hosted by the Permanent Working Group (PWG) on Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), in collaboration with Vision 2030 Secretariat and TVET Authority (TVETA) and funded by the State Department of Vocational Training of the Ministry of Education, aims to address the high unemployment rate and identify solutions to the shortage of professional profiles prepared for the labour market.
One of the goals of this second edition is to attract more than 10,000 participants to experience interactive and informative showcases on training, entrepreneurship and life skills for vocational careers across diverse industries and sectors in Kenya, with a particular focus on the careers mentioned in the Government of Kenya’s BIG FOUR AGENDA (food security, health care, manufacturing and housing).
The Skills Show represents also a great opportunity for stakeholders from the public and private sector to showcase best practices and outstanding innovations in the TVET sector.
In order to achieve a greater impact, the Skill show is currently looking for sponsors and exhibitors. Partnership Proposal packages are available on the PWG website.
The organisations that decide to join the event will have the opportunity to reach thousands of young people, teachers, parents and careers professionals, advertise career opportunities and recruit the best young talents and be part of a network with more than 100 partners and sponsors.
