On behalf of National Qualifications Agency and mysell I would like to express my sincere gratitude for the invitation to attend in-person the Skillman International Forum (SIF) 2023 ot 26-27 September 2023 “The Planet of Skills. Revised Perspective on Networking Potential – redefining the future of learning and skills“.
The conference program was thoughtfully crafted to address the objectives of the European Year of Skills, providing a platform for productive discussions. These events offered valuable visions on various approaches to the potential of global networking as a resource for co-creating our common knowledge. Additionally, we had in-depth discussions on the emerging megatrends for a future society in which any qualification has a role, and where microcredentials may have a crucial role in response to the new emerging skills demands. The global trends were discussed with the additional emphasis on green and digital transition and innovative approaches from various perspectives, and with the needs of active citizenship in mind.
The gained insights will provide a valuable foundation for implementing the key objectives of the European Year of Skills in Ukraine, particularly considering the significant labor mobility resulting from the armed conflict and the prospects ofpost-war recovery, which require tremendous efforts for development and ensure future labour market needs for economic growth.
Moreover, acquainting ourselves with new ideas will contribute to the development of the National Qualifications System and the implementation of concrete steps towards the development and improvement of vocational education and training in Ukraine. Introducing best practices of modern professional education and training by touring various vocational education and training institutions provides us the opportunities on fostering innovation and entrepreneurship in vocational education and training. It’s extremely valuable for us to explore how these innovations can drive skill development and prepare individuals for future challenges and opportunities.
In light of the above, I eagerly look forward to our fruitful cooperation and extend my best wishes for your ongoing success in promotion excellence in vocational education and training.
