As part of the Skillman International Forum 2021, a study visit was organized to ATEC – Training Academy, created in December 2003 as a result of a project conceived by the promoters Volkswagen Autoeuropa, Siemens, Bosch, and the German-Portuguese Chamber of Commerce and Industry, with the support of the Portuguese government, with the objective of providing Portugal with a training facility that would meet the needs of the industrial cluster in terms of training and qualification of personnel. 

The main objective is to improve the growth of people and organizations by putting together a competent and ambitious team with innovative methodologies, advanced technologies, and differentiating solutions.

 As part of the study visit, participants were introduced to the goals and purpose of ATEC – Training Academy, highlighting the importance of professional training – and the cruciality of following pedagogical goals. 

Visits to training areas give participants the opportunity to learn more about ATEC facilities that are structured and equipped with innovative training equipment and machinery, combining theoretical methods with workspaces in real-life settings that allow students to gain valuable hands-on experience.
