Skillman has a fresh blueprint to enhance its presence in Canada by collaborating with Canadian institutes in the field of competency-based training, assessment, and certification. Additionally, Skillman aims to rekindle the digital credentials initiative and the microlearning debate. To achieve this, Skillman's board, led by member Jef Griffiths from Calgary, will host a series of events. The first of these events is a webinar scheduled for April 30th, 2024, where members and partners will be invited to participate. The discussion will revolve around the new Skillman Initiative (dqf.eu) and the subject of "Rethinking Educational Priorities," emphasizing the importance of prioritizing key competencies over thematic subjects.
Other areas of focus include Inclusive Education Standards, The Power of Networking, Policy Learning in European Integration, and Impactful Networking for Members. During these events, Skillman will showcase success stories, encourage future cooperation, and highlight the impact of international networks like Skillman as policy-making tools.
If you're a Skillman member with a desire to lend a hand to Canada's official 2024 initiatives, we invite you to reach out to us via email at secretariat@skillman.eu.
