SKILLMAN’S CASE STUDY: SUSSANE GOTTLIEB

Sussannes occupation is a research assistant at Aarhus University in the pedagogical department, but her main experience comes from Metropol University College. She is very engaged in the international cooperation in the VET area. One of the important international projects that she has been involved in is the SKILLMAN project. She entered the project because a common language amongst VET teachers is extremely important and especially the skeleton beneath SKILLMAN – the ECVET system is a very important tool in order to develop education and curricular. Her special interest from the Metropolitan University Center in the SKILLMAN project was to train the VET teachers in making goals in the ECVET terminology. Susanne and her colleagues managed to make the curricular for the maintenance of composite. She believes the cross-national curricular is important because it is a better way to help each other across borders. The very first step to understand each other is according to Susanne to have a mutual language and the SKILLMAN project have indeed contributed to help her and her colleagues to accomplish that.
