For greater transparency across countries, the Skillman.eu network uses the European Qualifications Framework (EQF) and fosters the implementation of ECVET principles among its members.
Skillman indeed asks each organisation subscribing to Skillman to adopt the standard by signing a statement that it recognises and adopts the ECVET principles (collective Memorandum of Understanding – MoU). The Network also provides its members with a template for curriculum development that supports the use of units of learning outcomes.
ECVET-EQF framework and ESCO classification are also one of the strands of the Skillman International Forum (SIF) that in 2018 attracted participants from over 55 countries, including Asian and Sub-Saharan countries.
The last issue of the ECVET Magazine illustrates in detail the Skillman’s commitment to spreading this important standard.
